A passionate, hospitality strategist, connector and advisor working with operators, suppliers, and investors in the sector to create growth, demand and profit for brands and businesses. With over thirty years’ of living and breathing hospitality, Ann has a genuine love and understanding for the industry, bringing valuable insight, like-minded people, and creative solutions together.
Beginning her career with Whitbread, Ann spent nine years at board level as Marketing Director for Pizza Hut and then Beefeater. This experience was complemented by an enjoyable and invaluable five years in operations, three of them as Regional Operations Directors with responsibility for 280 pubs.
In 2001 this led Ann to set up the sector’s leading integrated marketing agency, elliotts agency, working with sector suppliers and operators to deliver outstanding results. In 2020, Ann is utilising this depth of experience as an independent consultant, strategist and advisor to the industry.
Ann has also joined Fleet Street Communications as a senior director and advisor to help drive the ongoing development of the renowned PR and communications agency. Working strategically with clients such as Arc Inspirations, UKHospitality and The Big Table, Ann advises the group on growth, strategy and service development.
Ann has worked with a wide range of operators and suppliers from across the world of Restaurants, Pubs and Bars, Contract Caterers, Leisure and Theme Parks. She has also worked with companies along the whole supply chain from growers to manufacturers to distributors to operators and service providers (including many tech businesses). It means that she has a 360o view of the world of leisure and hospitality
